Members of a fitness
center are donating and buying used clothes for charity through the Zero's
Love Relief project and you can too!
The moment you walk into
this studio, you will notice two sections of racks with clothes for sale. One
section is for used clothes that cost RM5 onwards while the
other, is for brand new dance and sports attire.
Studio representative Jenny said that members are quite supportive of the used
clothes sale as it is part of an effort to raise funds for
the Malaysian
Gratitude Association (MGA), a Penang-based NGO that does charity
work.
She said that many of the studio's members would bring clothes to donate when
they come for classes. Then, there are those who would buy the clothes. The
Zero's Love Relief project depends greatly on this type of support from the community.
