Welcome to Most Bundle!

Hello!

I have been wanting to create this website for the longest time but there was never a perfect moment for it. I had no time for it as I was spending all my weekends at vintage stores, thrift shops and garage sales. Finally, I sat down one day and drafted about the things I want to share with my readers. It was not easy because there are so many elements to the thrifting culture. I decided to start with posting about some local thrift stores in Penang.

Soon, lots of people asked me if 'thrifting' is popular in Penang and Malaysia?

My answer is yes!

Here in Malaysia, thrift shops are known as kedai bundle (bundle stores in Malay), second-hand shops, family store, or even junk shop. You'll see people shopping at thrift shops almost every day.  Whatever the name, these pre-loved and used items stores are known for selling random goods at crazy prices.

So in 2016, I decided to start a blog with just one post - list of thrift shops in Penang and the response was overwhelming as people began asking for more details. I realized that the information readers were looking for was not available online.

These days when I head to my usual thrift shops, I would also snap photos and ask for details from the store owner. I feel so happy to be able to share that information with you on this website.

Most Bundle.com get its inspiration from bloggers like Lydia from Chic on the Cheap, Katie Like Me, The Outfit Repeater and Green & Gorgeous, just to name a few. I want to continue visiting thrift shops, vintage stores and garage sales in Penang. With each visit, I hope to share it with you here at Mostbundle.com, which is all about sharing and discovery.

xoxo
